Maung

This is Maung who is 11 years old. He started Victory school two years ago when he was in Room 16 and his first teacher was Ms Richards. He is in room 11 this year and his skills are helping little kids and even the teacher when he needs it! He likes solving problems with little kids. He enjoys playing soccer, marbles, doing maths, computers and reading. It is important to him to be a Leader because he is a caring person.

Ali

This is Ali and he is 10 years old.  He started at Victory Primary School this year.  He's in Room 11 and his teacher's name is Mrs Duncan.

Ali loves to play basketball with his friends.  He is great at supporting and helping others.  As a Victory Leader, he is keen to take on more responsibilities.

Ah nyan zel

This is Ah Nyan Zel. She is 12 years old and is in Room 13.  She has been at Victory Primary School for 3 years and likes to help people.  She is interested in reading and she is good at volleyball.

Being a Victory Leader is important to her because she wants to step up and be a role-model and she also wants to help others..

Zim Moe Phyu

This is Zim Moe Phyu. She loves helping people at Victory Primary School and other places.  She is a 10 years old (almost 11).

Zim Moe Phyu was born in Chin State, Myanmar.

She is in Room 11.  Zim likes being in Room 11 because of the fun activities.  She's been at Victory Primary School since 2006 when she was 5 years old and her first teacher was Mrs Rapley.

Zim's hobbies include volleyball and basketball. She is good at reading and maths. ''I love being a Victory Leader because we get to help people and I want to step up. In my future I will be a good role-model and a good leader.  I am going to leave this school next year and I will miss this school.''                                                                                                                                                                                

Dayla

This is Dayla and she is ten years old.  Dayla loves Moro bars, but they're way too sweet and she can't eat a whole one. She's a bit talkative.

Being a Victory Leader is important to her because she gets to step up and show everyone what she's made of, plus it means a lot to her that people can look up to her and ask for help.

Dyson

This is Dyson and he has just become a Victory Leader.  He is 10 years old and will be 11 in October.  His class this year is Room 13 and he has proven over his five years at Victory Primary School that he is a worthy leader.

His strengths are Rugby, Rugby League and all sports.  In his down time he likes to play a little bit of X-BOX 360 and watch TV.  The reason he wanted to become a Victory Leader is because he wanted to be a good role-model for little kids, and help others.

Samantha

This is Samantha, she is ten years old. This year she is in room 13.  She has been at Victory Primary School since she was five years old and her first teacher was Mrs Taylor.

Her hobbies are going horse riding with her best friend and going swimming.

Liberty

This is Liberty and she is 10 years old.  She has been at Victory Primary School for 4 years and her first kaiako was Matua Weesang.  She started in Room 19 and now she is in Whānau Harakeke with Matua Paul.

She loves sports. Last year Liberty and many others wanted to become Victory Leader and they can now can step up to a higher level.

This is Ram Peng, he is in Room 15 and is eleven years old.  He has been at Victory Primary School since he was five when he was in Room 2 with Mrs Rapley.  His strengths are soccer and playing marbles.

This is Cody and he is 10 years old.  His class is room 15 and he has been at Victory for five years.

Maneka

This is Maneka, she is 10 and is in Room 13 this year.  She has been at Victory School since she was 5 but she went to another school for half a year before she came here. Her interests and hobbies are netball and swimming.  Her strengths are swimming and art.

She said that being a Victory Leader means that, "I can step up and help others and be a role model.  Ever since I found out about Victory Leaders when I was 6 I wanted to be one."

This is Connor, he is ten years old and he is in Room 11.   He is good at knuckle bones and basketball.  His interests include rugby, cricket, boxing and computer games.

He wants to be a leader because he wants to be a great role-model.  He is helpful and caring and great with children and he thinks it's important taking care of the little guys and passing skills on to the other children.

This is Tahlia, she is 10 years old and she is in Room 8.  She started at Victory Primary School when she was 5 years old and she has always wanted to be a Victory Leader ever since she started school.

Tawheri

This is Tawheri who is 11 years old and has been at Victory Primary School  for five years.  When he started school he was in Room Six with Matua Nelson but he was only there for six days!

His favourite subject is Maths. The sports that he plays include rugby and rugby league and he also goes to Boxing.

His interests are going diving with his uncle for paua.  He wants to be a leader because he thinks it will be good experience for the future.

Bawi Cung

This is Bawi Cung, he is eleven years old.  He came to Victory Primary School when he was five years old and his first class was Room 2 with Mrs Rapley as his teacher.  He has been in Nelson for five years.  His hobby is Soccer and he is good at maths, writing and reading.  He thinks it's important to be a Victory Leader because they get to look after kids in the playground.  This year Bawi Cung is in room 13 and Mrs Ward is his teacher.  He supports others and he likes Road Patrol and being a Sports Leader.  His goal was to become a Victory Leader and he has now achieved his goal.

Tysxun

This is Tysxun and he is 10 years old and he loves playing sports.  Tysxun wanted to be a Victory Leader because it is a great opportunity to help others.  Tysxun is a wonderful person at all times.  He loves being a leader because it's a great opportunity. "You can help others and you can be a great leader," said Tysxun.  Tysxun has been at Victory for six years and he never gives up!

Rakaia

This is Rakaia and he is 11 years old.  He has been at Victory for 6 years and   is in Whaea Rachel's class.  His interests are basketball, rugby and riding his bike.  He reckons that being a Victory leader is about helping others and doing the right thing.
In the future he wants to be a NBA player and if that doesn't happen he wants to be an accountant or a pre-school teacher.

This is Amber and she is ten. She is in Room Fifteen and she has been at Victory Primary School for four years now.  Her special talent is art.

Trinity

This is Trinity.  She is 11 years old.  She was born on 1 March. She is in Whaea Rachel's class this year, she was in Whaea Kaiya class when she started at Victory Primary.  She has been here for three years.

Her interests are reading and badminton.  She is in the badminton club.  She said, "Being a Victory leader is important cause it just is."

This is Tarn. He has been at Victory Primary School for one year. He is ten now. He likes sports like soccer and hockey. He enjoys drawing and Lego and his favourite subject is reading. He is in Room Eleven this year.
